Normally I wait untill the full 15 minutes have passed and the opening range has been established. My indicator traces the range for and fills it in with a purple color so it cannot be missed. But the premarket high and low are also traced on the chart, and that gave me an opportunity.
Once I saw a candle close above the premarket high, EMA10 was above both EMA 30 and VWAP, that told me everything. Well, almost everything. I made sure the next candle did not retest the OR high, which it didn’t, so jumped on a call. Watch the video. Price was moving so quickly I had to cancel and resumbit the order twice times before it filled. It was a OTOCO on Webull, with automatic TP/SL at 40%/30% (wide SL, I know).
And it worked. Position closed itself at just above 40% profit. Easy. If only all days could be like this. I just need to learn more about entries after 11am when the real moves seem to happen. I will get there..or rather, WE will.
