What went wrong?
Watch the video. My TP/SL settings were initially 20%/15%
Tried a trade during the opening 15 min even though the premarket range hadn’t been crossed. Bought a put and got stopped out at a 15% loss. Bought a call as a knee-jerk reaction to what looked like a price reversal, even though it was still in the opening 15 minutes. Got stopped out at 15% loss again.
The third loss was different. Everything was right with the setup and it was outside the opening range. I expected to make profit so I raised my SL to 30%. And I got stopped out at a 15% loss. My SL was too narrow! Next time I have to use a 50% SL or none at all.
Anyway, watch the rest of the video. I opened the put option that I bought in a widget, and watched it move up to just above 100% profit.
